BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XT

The BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XT is the pinnacle of luxury and reliability, engineered for wheelchair and scooter transportation. At a push of the Toyota key fob, the power door will open, the power ramp will deploy, and the auto kneel will lower the rear suspension. Lowering the floor 13” lower than the conventional minivan floor allows taller wheelchair users easy access through the 56.5” door opening. Featuring our exclusive Quiet Drive® technology, all BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XTs keep road noise outside where it belongs, keeping the inside of the Rampvan XT extremely quiet so that passengers do not have to yell when talking with friends and family in the vehicle. For wheelchair users who prefer to ride up front, the BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XT has easy to use step and roll removable driver and passenger seats. When the van is properly equipped, you can drive your wheelchair up behind the steering wheel and drive directly from it.

Quiet Drive® On the BraunAbility® Rampvan XT

Our industry exclusive Quiet Drive® keeps road noise outside. This groundbreaking noise reduction system uses acoustic technology to locate areas that cause road noise and then blocks the noise out. The BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XT features this technology from the rear axle to the front firewall, making the Toyota Rampvan XT the quietest wheelchair van on the road.

Power Door on the BraunAbility® Rampvan XT

All Toyotas paired with the BraunAbility® Rampvan XT will keep the original Toyota power door. Simply push the Toyota key fob to activate the power door, allowing access to the Toyota Rampvan XT luxury interior. BraunAbility® ensures system control through on-board electronics that communicate with the vehicle BCM and CAN-BUST system. When servicing, technicians have built-in diagnostics to simplify troubleshooting and servicing.

Toyota Rampvan XT Power Ramp

Built out of lightweight aluminum and capable of supporting 800 pounds, the BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XT ramp extends and retracts smoothly to allow easy access entering or exiting in a wheelchair and scooter. The ramp’s powder-coating and non-slip finish ensure superior traction, and the slotted surface of the ramp helps prevent debris from being carried into the van. If power loss is experienced, simply push the ramp out manually.

BraunAbility® Rampvan XT Power Kneel

Enter the Toyota Rampvan XT with a ramp slope of 7.3º for even easier boarding. This feature is controlled by a power actuator that lowers the rear suspension while the power door is opening.

Rear Bench Foot Rest

With a molded flush design, the new footrest for the rear bench seat looks and functions better than ever! As always, it folds away easily when not in use.

Lowered Floor—BraunAbility® Rampvan XT

Lowering the floor 13” from the original minivan floor allows for a 56.5” usable door opening. The floor is lowered from the rear axle to the front firewall, giving both the midsection and the driver/passenger area room to secure wheelchairs for traveling.

BraunAbility® Rampvan XT Removable Seating

The BraunAbility® Rampvan XT has removable driver and passenger seating that make it possible for you to choose to ride up front or even drive from your wheelchair. Simply unlock and raise the seats with the step and roll features. Once the seat is raised, push the entire seat on wheels out of the van down the ramp.
